2022 Toyota Zeta is powered by the same 1.2-litre Dual jet Dual-VVT four cylinder naturally-aspirated engine that powers the existing car. It produces 90PS and 113Nm but the performance will be slightly lower owing to the new car weighing 80 kgs more. Even the fuel efficiency of the manual variant has dropped from 25.45 kmpl earlier to 21.68 kmpl. But the CVT version of the

existing model will be replaced with an AMT model and this has pushed the mileage up from 18.88 kmpl earlier to 24.34 kmpl now. Other than helping the car with a higher mileage, the AMT should even ensure attractive pricing. The AMT (AGS in Maruti speak) option will be available on Delta and Alpha variants.
